Chrystal Soroa Sanchez is a strategic, results-driven operations and finance executive with over seven years of progressive leadership experience across global logistics, transportation, and education sectors. She currently serves as Regional Head of Market Finance for Latin America at A.P. Moller–Maersk, where she partners directly with senior regional leadership to execute financial and operational priorities across multiple business units. Her scope includes budgeting, forecasting, KPI governance, operational strategy execution, and cross-functional alignment across operations, commercial, IT, and human resources.

In her current role, Ms. Sanchez drives financial discipline and operational scalability throughout the Latin American region, leading initiatives in process transformation, automation, and technology adoption to enhance reporting accuracy and enterprise efficiency. She is a key advisor to executive leadership on commercial objectives, deployed asset strategy, and regional performance optimization. Additionally, she oversees staffing strategy, recruitment, and team development in collaboration with HR leadership.

Previously, Ms. Sanchez served as Head of Ocean & Network Finance for the Intra Americas region, where she held full P&L oversight and delivered consolidated financial forecasts, performance analytics, and yield visibility across multiple brands. She led major process standardization efforts following Maersk brand integrations, implemented automated reporting solutions, and partnered closely with trade and commercial teams to drive revenue transparency and profitability.

Earlier in her tenure with Maersk, she held the role of Finance Manager for Sealand, where she led forecasting, financial modeling, month-end close, SOX compliance, and executive-level P&L reviews. Her work included automation of invoicing and reporting systems, standardization of accrual processes, and development of rolling forecast models to support sustained market growth.

Prior to joining Maersk, Ms. Sanchez served as a Senior Financial Analyst at Purdue Global University, where she managed financial reporting for 19 cost centers, partnered with executive leadership on cost-reduction initiatives, and successfully improved B2B sales processes that increased enrollment while generating tuition efficiencies.

Ms. Sanchez holds an MBA in Finance from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Florida. She is fluent in English and Spanish, with working knowledge of Portuguese, and is highly proficient in SAP, Power BI, and advanced financial analytics tools.
